Whats a good, but a cheap, pci express x16 video card?

I need something cheap, the cheaper the better. Right now my system has on board video, nvidia Geforce 6150 LE.

I think my video would be much faster and of better quality if I went with a pci express video card and used the dvi on my lcd monitor.|||You said you want something cheap but if you're gonna buy a card, you should have an approximate budget.

Here are some really good cards that are well worth the money. Just choose one that you like. Note that these are based on average online prices.

Best PCI-E Card For Under $100

GeForce 7300 GT DDR2

Best PCI-E Card For ~$115

GeForce 8600 GT

Best PCI-E Card For ~$140: Tie

GeForce 7900 GS

Radeon X1950 PRO

Best PCI-E Card For ~$200

Radeon X1950 XT

Best PCI-E Card For ~$280

GeForce 8800 GTS (320MB version)

Best PCI-E Card For ~$380: Tie

GeForce 8800 GTS (640MB version)

Radeon HD X2900 XT|||I would grab the 7600gt. It's about $75-85 right now. The 8k series are expensive. You won't be able to notice any huge difference with dvi or any at all.|||NVidia 7300 is quite passable whilst still fairly cheap.|||The cheapest will be GeForce 8500.

The better and cost slightly more than 8500 will be 8600.

I will suggest you go for 8600.|||Nvidia 8800GTX|||Your question is like a paradox. You didn't mention how much is cheap to you. Different pay grades means different perception of what's cheap. Maybe you can buy something really good that you can comfortably afford but is also too expensive to others.|||Geforce 8600GT|||i dont know
