Is it possible to switch to some sort of NVIDIA card?|||You cannot replace the video hardware on 99% of laptops- it's built-in to the motherboard and permanent for the lifetime of the unit, not a card you can just replace like on desktops.
There are external video adapters you might look into, but they are new and hard to find (the Asus XG staton was reviewed last year and STILL hasn't made it to stores). Can't add a video card to a laptop.
If I'm wrong and its a desktop you will have to check to see which kind of expansion slots you have available, PCI, AGP, PCI-E.

The card is built into the mother board and it would have to be replaced by a computer service center and would be expensive.
