What video card should I buy?

First of all I have no idea about computers. This is the first time I've actually tried to do anything with my computer and it took me a while to understand what a video card was.

I'm running on Windows XP.

Here are my processor specification.

I'm a hardcore gamer and I'll probably be playing COD4.

Looking for a card within the price range of under $100.|||This seems to meet the requirements for COD4: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/…

Its also PCI because you dont seem to have a PCI-E slot.

Also DO NOT GET the video cards listed by SkitZaY, those are all PCI-E slots, they will not fit in your motherboard.

If your still confused this is a PCI-E Slot (you dont have this): http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co…

These are PCI Slots (you have these): http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co…|||Hi There,

First of all, I'd suggest if possible going a little above budget to aim for that silky smooth performance required to get your frag on. :)

The ATI 4850 is a GREAT card for the price, and really excels in all areas, and is only 169.99 from that source.

Or a nice nVIdia alternative, is the 9600 GT which is just a smidgen above your $100, but also a great card.

Or if you just can't pull up enough for these performance cards. You can settle for the nice, cheap (but capable) 9500GT.

Hope that helps!
