Do I need a special graphics card to extend my computer video output to a tv screen in another room?

If so... what's a good card to get that's also affordable in the $100 range or less?|||You dont need a new card, you can get a usb video audio out device but before you get your hopes too hi, a TV sets resolution is lower than a PCs. The picture will look fuzzy and blurred at best! The bigger the screen, the fuzzier the pic!|||you need a graphic card with a TV output (usually list TV-Ouput in the name of the card or the specs on the box) - you can get a budget one for 50 - 100 $|||most cards now have a least a TV OUT port, which can be plugged into a TV, being in another room would only need a longer cable, nVidia are the best built video cards in my opinion :)|||Depends on how far away the room is. Different cables can only go so far before attenuation kicks in. You only got about 15 feet to work using USB. I'm assuming S-Video can't go much longer and the video is crap. If you don't have a hi def TV then just quit while your ahead because the quality just won't be good enough.

If you do have a hi def start with walmart. You can get ok graphic cards under 100 bucks. Make sure they have S-Vid out and include a set of connectors for component video. Connecting the TV through component cables will give you the best quality, but you have to have a Hi Def TV with the Red, Blue, Green connectors. Like the old Red, Yellow, and White.
